We offer studio family portraits, on-location outdoor sessions, multi-generational portraits, children's portraits, couples portraits, and engagement sessions throughout Kirkland, Seattle, Bellevue, and the greater Eastside. Every session is fully guided and customized to your family's story and style — no two sessions are ever the same.

Sessions are held in our boutique Kirkland studio at 1200 2nd St, Kirkland, WA, or on location throughout the greater Seattle area including Bellevue, Sammamish, Mercer Island, and other scenic Eastside locations. Many families choose a hybrid session — both studio and outdoor — to capture a variety of looks and settings. We have such amazing scenery in the PNW why not celebrate some of your favorite scenery into your family portraits.

Sessions are fully customized but typically run 1 to 4 hours depending on family size and the collection selected. Shannon guides every family through the session so you can relax and enjoy the experience together. Family sessions move quickly, when children are involved it is important to keep them engaged and move things along quickly. Most of all it is so important to be having fun!

I schedule ordering appointments the week following your photo session. This is typically 1 to 4 days after your photoshoot. This is when you view your images, choose your collection and print products and pay for the collections you choose for your images.

If you have scheduled a custom family or couples photoshoot, you will also have a style and planning call scheduled. During this call where we go over your Pinterest or mood board and the vision of your style and how you want to be photographed.

Shannon provides personalized wardrobe guidance during your pre-session planning consultation. Coordinating outfits in complementary tones photograph beautifully — the goal is for everyone to feel comfortable, confident, and authentically themselves. We'll talk through options together before your session so there are no surprises on the day.

We love pets and they are part of your family, so including them absolutely makes sense! We can accommodate both studio and outdoor sessions with your family pet members. Just let Shannon know when you book so we can plan accordingly.

What you purchase is entirely up to you. However, families tend to want at least 25 images — especially when including kids and extended family. When you think about the number of outfits, locations, and how many people are in your family, it is easy to see how 25 images comes together quickly. Ultimately, I want you to love your images, and the number of final images you choose is entirely up to you.

Many families choose albums and wall art for their home, and Shannon loves working with families to choose the right style of art and the correct sizes for their space.

Yes. We specialize in museum-grade fine art cotton paper prints, wall art, and custom albums designed to be heirlooms for generations. Shannon will guide you through every product option at your private ordering appointment, helping you choose pieces that work beautifully in your home.

Yes — multi-generational portrait sessions are one of Shannon's specialties. Whether you have grandparents, grown children, or extended family visiting from out of town, these sessions are designed to capture your whole family's legacy in a timeless and meaningful way.
