Lauren Defines "Worthy" — In Her Own Words

To be Worthy. How does one define that?

Truth be told, it's in the eye of the beholder — the eye of one looking into another, watching a path of life that contains stories as they unfold. An aspiration of the ideal you define for your own life story.

We asked Lauren to put it into words. What she gave us was something far more powerful than we expected.

In Lauren's Words

While on your journey of conquest, you may not have the epitome of the fairytale you imagined. You will trip — perhaps not fall. You will get lost — perhaps not disoriented. You will become scarred — though not all scars are visible.

You will learn humility, gratitude, and true endurance. These are the stories for this book of life.

They say you shouldn't judge a book by its cover — however, the eye that makes that judgment is most likely your own. You will be your worst critic. Never forget that. Strive to be stronger by keeping that curious eye open, always ready to discover new paths.

When you look in the mirror closely enough, you'll see a small sparkle in your eye. That is your reminder to dream big. You are worthy of being remembered as the most honorable warrior of them all.

Never stop working on yourself. Uphold your values. Become the best version of YOU.

Invest in yourself. You ARE worth it. XO — Lauren

Why We Share These Stories

At Beauclair Photography, the Worthy Project was never just about beautiful portraits. It was about creating a space where women could be fully seen — their strength, their scars, their resilience, and their light. Lauren's words capture exactly what we hoped this project would become: a mirror that reflects the truth of who these women really are.

Every woman who has walked through our studio doors for a Worthy session has arrived carrying her own version of Lauren's story. The trips and the recoveries. The invisible scars. The hard-won gratitude. The small sparkle in the eye that refuses to go out.

That sparkle is what we photograph.

Your Worthy Session Awaits

The Worthy Project series may be closed, but this style of portrait experience is very much alive at Beauclair Photography. We continue to work with women who are ready to invest in themselves — to show up, be seen, and walk away with images that remind them of exactly who they are.

Every session is held at our boutique studio in downtown Kirkland and includes professional hair and makeup, wardrobe guidance, and a private image reveal. We serve women across the greater Seattle area including Bellevue, Redmond, Sammamish, Mercer Island, and beyond.

If Lauren's words resonate with you — if you've been waiting for permission to celebrate yourself — consider this your sign.

Book your Worthy portrait session at Beauclair Photography and let us capture the warrior that you are.

You are worthy of being seen.
