A Personal Note from Shannon

My mother died when she was 30. I was raised by my father — a 31-year-old man left with four young daughters, no extended family to lean on, and no roadmap for what came next. His parents had passed, my mother was an only child, and he did it entirely on his own. He showed up every single day with patience, love, and quiet sacrifice. He was, in every way that mattered, our mother too.That experience shaped how I see Mother's Day. It taught me early on that the holiday should include every person who acts as a mother — everyone who nurtures, protects, and loves unconditionally, regardless of title or biology.

Every session at our boutique Kirkland studio is fully guided from start to finish. We handle hair and makeup, wardrobe guidance, and posing — so all you have to do is show up. Our studio is a warm, welcoming space where you can relax, be yourself, and let us capture who you really are.Sessions are available at our downtown Kirkland studio, conveniently located for families across the Seattle Eastside including Bellevue, Redmond, Sammamish, and Mercer Island.
