Now you might be thinking, what did I get myself into? There’s a lot that goes into a portrait experience and it can seem overwhelming. Here’s a guide to help you when prepping for your shoot - you can leave the rest up to us!

I. create your VISION BOARD

You dictate the vision of your photoshoot and the best way to share that vision with us is through a vision board. Pinterest and Canva are great tools for this.

II. Custom collections & wall art

Start thinking about how you want your images displayed, are you an album or folio box person? What kind of wall art and size will suit your home and decor? All products are custom made for your budget and style.

III. Deliver memories

Come to your photoshoot with a good attitude and let us worry about the rest! We guide you through the process from beginning to end...your job is to trust the process and have fun!

How to prepare for your luxe photo experience


Your makeup/hair is booked, arrive with a clean face and dry hair. It’s always helpful to do a light exfoliation on your face, even just with a washcloth. Let the makeup artist know if you have any sensitivities, and feel free to bring some inspiration

Having freshly trimmed and coloured hair and eyebrows done - if that’s your thing - will make you feel like a supermodel during your session!

Come with clean dry hair

hands and feet

If you normally do your nails, get a manicure and pedicure before you session (or DIY at home). Your hands and feet will show in many of your images and we don’t want chipped polish! Red or neutral colors are best.

The deposit for your session is non-refundable and there is a $200 rescheduling fee; please allow a minimum of 2 weeks notice for rescheduling. We book our team when you pay your session fee.

Time is valuable


We do not recommend a spray tan if you haven’t had one done before as it will affect how your skin tone will photograph. You should also stay out of the sun to avoid any burns before your session!

Your skin will thank you


Please arrive on time for your appointment; if you arrive early, we may still be with another client. Late arrival will be deducted from your session time. Hair/makeup will take approx 1.5 hours and your shoot approx 2 hours.
