Behind the Lens
As long as I can remember I have always been obesessed with photographic images. When I was young my father always had a camera and took many pictures of my sisters and I wehn we were growing up. Whether it be playing soccer, doing gymnastics or our annual family Christmas card (which took hours with a self timer). I am fortunate to have many pictures of my parents, grandparents, great-grandparents and many of my ancestors that I obsessed looking at while growing up. I loved pulling out the family photo albums and flipping the pages and staring at the images of years gone by and all the family members I knew or never met.
When I started my own family, I quickly became the family photographer, documenting childhood milestones, sports and activites and all the holidays. Now that my kids are grown I find myself with a bit more time (no more carpools!) on my hands and wanting to take my hobby in a new and more creative direction.
When was the last time you were photographed and how do would you like to be remembered?
I look forward to hearing from you and getting started.
